OUR CLASSROOM
Students are learning their multiplication facts. They are practicing by timed levels and when they get through the 12's in multiplication they get an ice cream! They will then be working on timed division facts, and when they all get through it, we will have a pizza party at the D&D.
We are finishing our Earth Science Unit, students went through a web based program called Rock Hounds where they had to take a quiz and become certified rock hounds. We also had successful volcano eruptions!
In History we are going through the location of mountain ranges, rivers, lakes, oceans, regions and climate zones of Alaska.
We are just finishing up Unit 2 in our Literacy Place reading program and have Ms. Monsen coming in daily to work with our reading and spelling needs.
Every afternoon, we get the laptops for a 45 minute session and we are having a blast working with our new email program and searching the internet.
