Bristol Bay Borough School District

The District is happy to announce the hire of Ms. Mary Fundeen and Ms. Diane Seitz to fill our final two elementary positions. Ms. Fundeen is a graduate of Bristol Bay and someone who just completed her student teaching experience in our school. Ms. Seitz has many years of teaching experience, most recently in Chevak, Alaska. We are very excited that both women chose Bristol Bay as their next step.

Please help all of us welcome our new teachers! We know the new year will be very exciting for all.

I just want to say that it has been great working with you the past six year. You, Lisa, and Tessa will be missed. I will especially miss Tessa entertaining us at lunch. Thanks for the friendship and memories.

4th Grade Potlatch

Our final day of the 2009-2010 school year, we held a potlatch to raise our totem poles. The girls built one and the boys built the other. The students did a great job in designing and building them.

Mark the Apple Dude Visits Our Classrooms

Mark Standley Apple Trainer was here in May. He visited classroom and taught students many useful technology tools. He introduced our students to the wonders of the green screen!

Thank You Bristol Bay!

Thank you to my students, the families I have served, and the staff I have worked with the last 13 years at Bristol Bay School for the wonderful and rich memories. Bristol Bay will always be my home and I consider you all a part of my extended family. See you on the river. Thanks! Mr. T
