Summer Reading Tutoring for K-3 Students Alyeska Reading Institute will provide free virtual tutoring during the summer. K-3 students who have a reading deficiency and scored well-below on a universal screener, such as m-CLASS DIBELS 8 will be eligible for a four-week summer school session. Each session will meet the required twenty hours of summer school for third grade students with a reading deficiency, progressing to fourth grade. If room allows a student may attend more than one session. To all 1st-4th grade parents, your child will be bringing home a summer reading bag of books! Please watch for them as they come home.

In order to offset the rising costs of student activities, Bristol Bay Borough Students entering grades 5-12 will be conducting a Pledge-a-thon this summer. All proceeds will go to supporting prom, graduation, class trips, sports travel, and equipment needs. Each student will receive an entry into a drawing for a $500 Apple or Nike Gift card for every $100 raised. The drawing will be held on August 19th. Please help support our students this summer!

Ms. Ludvick's 5th and 6th grade end of the year sleepover was a success! Always a fun time. The kids worked hard to earn this. A big thanks to Mr. Griffin for chaperoning the boys. We sure are going to miss him next year!

The 5th and 6th grade had the opportunity to learn about our local birds with Ms. Jaime and Mr. Pete from USF&G. We got to go on a field trip and help identify and count birds. Thankful that the weather was nice!

We have been alerted there is a potential case of lice in the elementary school. We will check any students that feel like they might have it, as well as the students that have been exposed .

Update: The little bus is anticipated to be fixed at the earliest, May 13th. We will continue to update when we hear about it. As of now, expect the bus schedule to continue the way it's been for the next 2 1/2 weeks.

Good afternoon preschool parents, the little bus is down for repairs once again and we will be on this schedule until further notice. Pre-K 3 will ride the big bus in the morning and parents will need to pick them up at 12:00 in the afternoon. Pre-K 4 will need parents to drop them off at school in the morning and ride the big bus home in the evening. We appreciate your understanding at this time.
